Montreat College
Class of 2027
Welcome to My Golf Portfolio
Hello! My Name is Atley Gabriel, and I am a collegiate golfer from the small town of Claremont, NC on the Montreat College Golf Team.
I began playing many small junior events in high school between my freshman and sophomore year in Aiken, SC and Augusta, GA within the Aiken Chapter of the SCJGA/AAJGA tournament in the summer of 2020. In the summer of 2021, I moved into NJGA, TYGA and CGA events to work on NC State and Carolinas Golf Association Rankings. I continued a heavy Jr Golf Individual schedule throughout 2022 and 2023 to build my experience for future collegiate tournaments.
I committed to Montreat College on Friday, February 3, 2022, to follow my dream of playing college golf starting in the Fall of 2023. As we are coming to a close of our golf season with one event left, I am happy to post that I qualified for all of the tournaments on schedule as either the #1 or #2 player, I was named AAC Player of the week in October with a finish of T-11 in a National NAIA Event in Memphis, and overall this year so far I have won all 3 of my match play matches, had one individual top 10 finish and two top 20 individual finishes out of our 4 events. Please see my results pages for further in dept scores and results.
Thank you for visiting and if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me at [email protected]
